Joystick Gamebar on Edgewood, in the old Dynamic Dish space – I like this place. I had a nice beer from BlueTarp Brewing Co. from Decatur. I had a damn fine, slutty thin-style double burger from Illegal Food, who has partnered with Joystick to prepare some cared for grub. And I played NBA Jams, Tournament Edition with some dudes from Canada who were super stoked to be here. We got smoked by Ewing and the Knicks.

It really is a solid place to start an evening, or maybe end one, before we ventured to a few spots in the Edgewood area.

With the burger – fries with homemade onion dip? Yessir.

Fried oysters with spicy dipping sauce and remoulade? No problems here. Tasty indeed.

I will be back, packing quarters.

    I am the Ewing that smoked you! Had a great time. That one game totally made my trip to Joystick, and Atlanta as a whole worth it. Killer burgers and beer!

    Thanks for the review! I just looked on their website – no mention of food on their menu, but looks like they have burgers, etc. from your post, hopefully they will redo their menu to reflect the food offerings soon.
