    Lovely video! And very smart to turn it into compound butter, I’d never though about doing that.

    One question, how did you avoid the buttermilk spatters? When we made butter in a food processor, it sprayed like crazy during the separation!

    Hey, I’m sorry, I actually intended to mention that your post on Whisk Away is what got me started on this. I tried to do it in the food processor, but my buttermilk wouldn’t separate. I think the blade in mine isn’t large enough.

    The bowl in my stand mixer is fairly deep, and I only used 2 cups of cream, so once the buttermilk separated I turned it off, and had little spray that actually made it out.
