Those of you who know me personally have probably received emails about this (more than you care for, likely), but the 6th annual chili cook-off that a buddy and I put on is a little over two weeks away, and anyone (non-weirdos, please) is welcome.
Like last year, the casual cook-off will be held upstairs at 5 Seasons Westside, which treated us very well last year, and was a great time despite the rainy weather. This year’s event is on Saturday, February 23rd at 4PM. As in the past, admission is $20 and that includes three drink tickets. All profits will be going to CURE Childhood Cancer, a great cause.
If you are planning on coming, we’d appreciate it if you would let us know . The form will also let you note whether or not you are bringing a chili, so we can plan for tables and chafing trays. One to two gallons of chili is recommended. We will provide tasting cups, spoons, and cowboy hats.
