The food blog world has been all abuzz about the Omnivore’s 100, which is an idea that came from a blog in the UK called Very Good Taste. The idea of the author was to create a list of 100 items that a true gourmand should have tried in their lifetime. Everyone takes the list, and scores themselves on the items they have tried by putting that item in bold.
As a comparison, the Accidental Hedonist (very good food blog) ranks at 70/100. Andrea’s Recipes (another one I read) said she ranks at 61/100.
Below is my list – I came in at a paltry 54/100. I have some work to do!
Also, below the VGT list is a variation called the Slashfood AMERICAN list. I did a little better with 63/100 there.
